About Us
Founder & Curriculum developer – Certified Behaviourist, Lucinda Glenny MSc. Animal Behaviour, BSc. Psych, CPDT-KA, has 40 years of experience training, breeding, and competing with dogs. She has earned her reputation in working with behavioural issues, including aggression, fear and anxiety and is referred to by vets, rescues, breeders and the OSPCA.
Lucinda earned her MSc. and Certification as a Behaviourist at the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College and her BSc in Psychology at York University. This focus on the science of behaviour furthers her understanding of how environment and temperament affect each dog’s development.
She is a certified trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers in the US. Keeping up to date with current methods is critical and Lucinda attends and presents at international conferences each year in Canada and the US.
Lucinda works with Victoria Stillwell International as a mentor trainer to help teach and certify new trainers as part of their curriculum. She also works with Animal Behavioural College in the U.S. in their certification process for new trainers. These schools are fully commited to pain and force free methods and ensuring that the new generation of trainers is making use of proper methods and tools.
With a lifetime of practical and applied experience, starting as a child when her family raised German Shepherd Dogs and onto adulthood breeding Afghan Hounds, Lucinda brings a wealth of insight to her consulting.

Our goal is to change the emotional state and start the change to a calmer and more confident dog!
Lucinda is now focusing exclusively on private consultations for behavioural concerns and can be reached at 647–883-1597, or info@caninebehaviour.ca. See more on the Behaviour tab on this website.
